Make Time To Take Care of Yourself
Just watched a video by a Doctor Amy Lee. It was a LONG video but I stuck it out so I could give you the info without you having to watch the over 40 min. presentation (YOU ARE WELCOME ;-) HERE are the BASICS.
First of all she suggested 3 HARMFUL FOODS that we should never eat.
1. Yogurt- yep, unless you read the label and it contains around 13 g sugar instead of the 20 g most yogurts contain...it is NOT good for you. Just peeked in my frig and mine contains 18g...crap.
2. Wheat Bread- once again read labels. Most wheat bread in America contains HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP (HFCS). She says this is the #1 reason for obesity in America. HFCS is NOT a real sugar (though it is 20X sweeter than real sugar) and anything that our body cannot recognize it turns directly into FAT She says this confuses our brain into EATING MORE. She also says there is a study that shows that HFCS is 8 times more addictive than COCAINE & HEROIN (Yikes..)
3. CEREAL BARS Like Fiber One and Special K Contain more Sugar in MANY different forms as their PRIMARY INGREDIENT.
